Pelican is the industry leader in TWIN SHEET THERMOFORMING (TST), a highly precise process that greatly improves the structural rigidity of the boats by fusing deck and hull under extreme pressure and heat. First Layer: Vibrant colors UV resistance improved scratch resistance Second Layer: 95% recycled high-density plastic Third Layer: Added stiffness and durability At comparable weight, no other manufacturing process can reproduce the durability, strength, and rigidity Pelican achieves with TST.

Materials

Our proprietary multi-layer material RAM-X PREMIUM is made of exceptionally durable high molecular weight polyethylene (HMWPE). RAM-X PREMIUM provides more rigidity than standard polyethylene, thanks to an advanced resin in the top layer. Our designers use less material to deliver the same incredible durability - resulting in a lighter, stiffer, and stronger kayak easier to paddle, maneuver, and transport.

Hydrodynamics

Our R&D team uses live tests and 3D software to optimize the hydrodynamics efficiency of our different hull types. This data is used to design products with the best possible stability, maneuverability, and speed. Upgraded Features: Additional storage in this tandem kayak includes a quick-lock hatch and a tank well equipped with bungee cords. It's also equipped with molded footrests, two bottle holders, and four accessory eyelets for your convenience.

Stable

The twin-arched multi-chine hull offers excellent stability giving you a secure and steady ride. It also makes it incredibly easy to get in and out of the kayak.

Safe

Our unique manufacturing process allows us to include additional flotation inside the hull of all of our sit-on-tops in order to meet or surpass ABYC standards. Holds a maximum capacity of 500 lb. Don't worry, the added scupper holes at the bottom of the kayak are completely safe and help drain any excess water that might get into your watercraft. Along with a flat hull type design, it ensures you peace of mind during your ride.

Comfortable

The adjustable ERGOFIT G2 seating system is specially designed with thicker ergonomic padding to provide targeted cushioning and better airflow. An additional molded middle seat provides enough room for any small child, pet, or extra gear you might want to bring with you.

Lightweight

Our kayaks being made with exceptionally durable high molecular density polyethylene, less material is needed to produce each boat. Weighing 73 lb, this tandem kayak is lighter than our competitors which makes it easier to transport.
